Main Body–Salutation
The first part of the main body is salutation. It is the way of addressing the recipient of the mail. The recipient should always be addressed politely.
You may use dear, hello and hi to address the person receiving the email. You can simply write the name of the recipient.
As a grammar rule, always insert a comma after the name of the recipient.
Add the addresses of all the recipients to whom the mail has to be circulated.
While using gender, be very careful. Addressing someone by the wrong gender is not appreciated.
Be careful while spelling out the recipient’s name.
If you need to shorten the recipient’s name then be discrete.
